Ariana Grande will play at the Grammy Awards on January 26 in Los Angeles, and will also feature Lizzo, Billie Eilish, Aerosmith, Blake Shelton, and Gwen Stefani.
The singer, nominated for five categories of awards given by the Recording Academy, announced on her online accounts.
Last year, she canceled the recital she was going to hold during the ceremony, after a series of disagreements with the producers of the gala about the songs she was going to sing.
Grande was absent from the gala at which he won the first Grammy Trophy – for the album “Sweetener”, designated the best pop album.
This year’s gala will be presented by Alicia Keys. Lizzo is the singer who received the most selections, 8, including in the “Record of the Year” and “Album of the Year” categories, followed by Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X, with six nominations, and Ariana Grande and HER, with five.
The 2020 gala will be the last coordinated by producer Ken Ehrlich, and with the 63rd edition, Ben Winston, executive producer of “Late Late Show with James Corden” will be at the helm of the show.
